Afeka Alumni

Afeka College graduates are the practical architects of Israel’s technological resilience, serving as a powerhouse of over 10,000 engineers who form the backbone of Israel's high-tech and defense infrastructure.  Afeka College produces approximately 10% of Israel’s new engineers each year, with many serving in elite technology units like Unit 8200 and the IDF Medical Corps R&D branch, and with graduates estimated to contribute $2.25 billion annually to Israel's national GDP.

About Afeka Alumni

Afeka's graduates are the strategic minds behind life-saving defense innovations, ranging from groundbreaking research at Israel's Ministry of Defense on autonomous drone systems to leadership roles in developing the next generation of the Iron Dome and Arrow missile defense systems. This commitment to Israel's security and technological innovation is matched by a profound sense of social responsibility, as seen through Afeka graduates who serve as key mentors in Afeka's Experiencing Engineering program, which has introduced over 8,000 youth from Israel's periphery to STEM, ensuring that the next generation of innovators reflects the diverse strength of Israeli society.

Afeka College’s community of over 10,000 alumni stands as a critical pillar of Israel’s national security and social resilience, applying technical brilliance to Israel's most urgent needs.  This impact extends to the front lines, where an overwhelming 42% of the Afeka community has served in the IDF reserves during recent conflicts, balancing critical defense duties with rigorous academic and professional roles.
